Ryan Hunter is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Basic Academy.Features a stocky build with strength present. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and behind the plate. Works around ground balls well with a quick first step. Quality glove actions caught the ball well. Transfer well into strong, accurate throws across. Displayed quick, short actions behind the plate. Gains ground well out of crouch. Stays behind throws well help produce strong, accurate throws. Recorded a 2.00 second pop time. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes a leg kick loud. Looks to lift and drive balls to the pullside. Showcased good bat speed through the zone. Strength allows for balls to be driven well when squared up. Right-handed pitcher. Creates good direction within the delivery, maintaining body control throughout. Hides the ball well into release. The fastball topped out at 78 mph. The offering worked well at the top of the zone. Creates big, 12-6 action on mid-60’s curveball. Also showed a low-70’s changeup with late, fading action. Threw all three pitches for strikes regularly. Excellent student.
