Rouselle "Rookie" Shepard is a 2026 SS/C/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from North Las Vegas, NV who attends Faith Lutheran. Medium athletic build with very good present strength. 6.77 runner in the sixty. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a tight hand load, has explosive hand quickness with present bat speed, line drive swing plane, can get early with his front side and pull off early at times. Primary middle infielder on defense, has good body control and stays low through the ball, very quick exchange and release. Also catches and has the potential to develop at this position as well. Receives the ball easily, athletic and quick lower half actions, quick release on his throws with good footwork, arm action is a bit long but has plenty of carry on his throws. Fast twitch athlete with strength and balance. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Miami.
