Julio A. Gonzalez is a 2027 SS/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Miami Christian. Larger broad shouldered athletic build with lots of strength potential. 7.39 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, glove works well and fields from the ground up with a good funnel, has very good arm strength across the diamond. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his arm strength well. Switch-hitter at the plate, was much more advanced from the left side for this look, left handed swing is well controlled and on time, has a left center field orientation that really works for him left handed, barreled up everything in the games and showed lots of confidence in his swing and approach. Right handed approach is more uphill and out of sync. Didn't pitch but has the arm strength, arm action and body to be potentially interesting there.
