Juan Pablo Morales is a 2022 C/1B/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Gardendale, AL who attends Gardendale. Strong prototypical catcher's build. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Has nice quickness behind the plate, light on his feet and shifts well, has a quick exchange and transfer on his throws, makes on line accurate throws, solid tools and skills overall. Switch-hitter at the plate, hits from a similar approach from both sides of the plate, spread stance with an aggressive lifting swing plane and good extension out front, stays on the ball better with more bat speed and less effort from the right side, has the tools to continue to switch-hit at the next level.
