Jonah Meyer is a 2025 C/RHP/UT with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Centreville, VA who attends Westfield. Solid built athlete with medium current frame and some present physicality with more to come. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.47 seconds. Primary position C, with a good initial setup in his legs and starting square to the pitcher. Clean transfer in the midline and gained direct ground with his footwork. Good carry on his throws that peaked at 73 mph with a pop-time best 2.14 seconds. Reps in the OF as well, getting to the ball in good shape and showing throws up to 88 mph here. Secondary RHP, using the full windup and small side step to get to belt high leg lift. Hand break at the belly in to very deep and slightly offline arm path to accelerate through an over the top arm angle. Works fast on the bump, throws strikes and missed barrels with regularity. FB up to 84 mph with subtle cutting action at the plate. Later more abrupt vertical break on his CB in the low-70s. RHH using a straight setup and lower handset to start. Strong hands creating good bat speed with loud impact as he worked his gap to gap approach. Stayed on time and showed the ability to identify spin in game action. Smoked breaking ball over the SS head on tight breaker in live action. Shows adjustability in legs and feel for the barrel. Interesting two-way skill set and an outstanding student as well. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
