2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Gio Gagliano is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Marlboro, NJ who attends Colts Neck. From the bump, the primary RHP worked exclusively from the stretch out of a medium frame and 3/4 arm slot. He consistently pounded the zone with a compact arm action and held his velo well through the entirety of his outing. Gagliano also flashed a looping 12-6 curve with good shape to keep hitters off balance. From the OF, he attacked the ball aggressively with accurate throws on the bag. Offensively, Gagliano started from a wider stance with a toe tap trigger and high hands. He stayed back well on the ball, and will benefit power wise with more incorporation of the lower half. Ran a 7.57 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
