Julien McRae is a 2026 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Clover, SC who attends Clover. Good, projectable frame with some wiry strength and plenty of projection. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.78 seconds. Primary position IF, showing a good first step and creating nice angles on his reps. Sticks his nose on the ball and displays solid fundamental actions with clean glove work. Deep funnel to short, compact arm action building throws up to 72 mph across the diamond. Reps in the OF as well with similar actions to the infield. Working methodically to the ball and works glove off to the side. Shorter path as well and reached 74 mph on feeds back to the infield. LHH starting slightly open and knee to knee load. High back elbow with some initial length in the front arm and moves in aggressively. Winds up and coils to create torque in the core. Off-time here and there with emerging hand strength but the components are there with some power projection. Outstanding student as well.
