Max Martinez is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Dobie. Recorded a 7.06 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Clean footwork on approach to one-hand gather working through the ball in the outfield. Inline momentum carrying his weight on throws with arm strength to the bases at 90 mph. Fluid actions moving around with good arm strength keeping the ball down with carry and online accuracy. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a controlled delivery and ability to control a three-pitch mix. Ran the fastball up to 80 mph (1961 RPM) on day three of the showcase with short two-plane slider at 70 mph (2033 RPM). Flashed a fading changeup to left-handed hitters at 73 mph while killing the spin at 1328 RPM. Right-handed hitter with an even base balanced stance. Short knee-lift trigger with direct path to the zone. Impact through the middle and pull side. Excellent student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
