Gage Boyd is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-9 129 lb. frame from Bryan, TX who attends A & M Consolidated. Medium slender build with plenty of room to grow and fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, makes good first step reads off the bat, moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Fields out in front, shows softness to his glove work, arm strength across the diamond will improve nicely alongside his build. On the mound, has a shorter arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Good direction down the hill, fastball up to 74 mph. Mixes in a high 10-to-4 shaped breaking ball with developing actions. At the plate, uses a tall and narrow stance with a simple stride trigger. Longer overall stroke with present pop to all fields when squared up. Solid barrel control with a middle to pull side approach.
