Jett Walker is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Cedar Hills, UT who attends American Fork. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front and positions behind it well, actions with glove and footwork play, comfort going to backhand, lower slot on throws across the diamond, polished actions and projects well moving forward. Also pitched, loose and athletic on the mound, solid arm speed with big extension out front. Filled the zone and showed short life to arm side on fastball, nice tempo and shows 11-5 shape to curveball up to 64 mph, will continue to develop a consistent release moving forward. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Best contact when working on a linear plane, handsy swing and stays short and direct to the ball, worked the middle of the field with line drive contact. Consistent and simple at the plate, can work to all fields, projects with added strength. Excellent student. Named to the West Coast Top Prospect List.
