Jason Sproull is a 2026 OF/RHP, C with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends Emsley A Laney. Recorded a 7.14 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a clean one-hand gather working through the ball and a long arm swing to a high 3/4 arm slot release. Accurate throws to the bases at 84 mph with carry and solid ball flight. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a side step to a quick paced belt-high lift. Medium arm circle to a 3/4 arm slot release getting down the slope. Repeats his delivery with a three-pitch mix. Fastball up to 77 mph, curveball around 61 mph and changeup at 69 mph. Staggered feet setup behind the plate with quick feet working under the ball on throws with a clean transfer. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open even base and balanced stance in the box. Short knee-lift trigger stride with some loft to his barrel path through the zone. Middle-to-pull side approach with increased impact as he adds size and strength to his slender frame. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
