Andrew DuMont is a 2024 RHP/SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Wildwood, MO who attends St. Louis University HS. Compact athletic frame. Quick with athletic arm speed. Compact delivery with quick arm action that hides the ball well in his delivery with a three-quarter slot. Real burst and life to the fastball through the zone. Just dotting 90+ MPH fastballs all round the zone. Hard biting Slider in the low 80's with real late break that misses bats. Held the velo for multiple innings, the arm speed and ability to hide the baseball really stand out. Threw strikes, worked quickly, dominated at Sunshine Midwest. Named to even top prospect list. Excellent student.
