David De Leon is a 2023 IF/ with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from , SD. Medium frame with slender, young build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with upright posture and toe tap trigger, shifts weight back into load and does a good job shifting forward into swing, line drive swing plane, keeps hands inside through path, solid contact skills, will improve with strength gains. Worked out in the infield, shows solid range laterally, plays low to ground and hands work well at the ball, balanced through gather and crow hop, clocked up to 76 mph on throws across the diamond with quick release and solid accuracy.
