Austin Hannigan is a 2024 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Olive Branch, MS who attends Lewisburg. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Left handed hitter, hits from an open start with a high hand load, gets his hands down and into slot on time, loose and fluid low tension swing with very good extension out front, repeats his timing very well, has some lift that will come into play as he continues to get stronger, very projectable hitter. 6.76 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has soft hands fielding the ball and good actions on the move, throws especially well from lower slots, tools to play shortstop now but might be better suited to second base at some point. Bat has a chance to be very good with more strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
