Kodi Saotome is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Warren, RI who attends Mt. Hope. Medium frame with strong, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.96 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with balanced set, high back elbow, rotational swing with minimal lower half incorporation, stationary back foot, handsy swing with inside-out path, whole-field approach, showed contact skills. Worked out in the outfield, gets behind the ball well, quick first step with good reads off the bat, works through the ball well and fields cleanly, solid arm strength clocked up to 83 mph on throws. Good student.
