Joshua Hartman is a 2024 C/1B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo. Long and strong build. Right handed hitter, hits from a bent knee stance, gets into his strong hips well to drive his swing, works uphill to the ball and is looking to pull it, stays pretty short for a pull and lift approach and has nice bat speed, stays synced up well through contact, projects well has a hitter. Has quick lower half actions behind the plate defensively, exchange is quick and sure and makes accurate on line throws, still developing his glove positioning and receiving consistency. Good athlete with an interesting combination of tools. Excellent student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
