Ryan Ursery is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from White Hall, AR who attends White Hall. Long lean frame that projects well. Primary left-handed pitcher, only pitched at this event. Really intriguing profile on the mound, stretch only with a loose and athletic operation, holds front side closed hard and creates huge angle working out of a low three-quarters slot, really tough to pick up out of the hand and arm speed projects to more velocity long-term. Up to 85 with the fastball now, jumps out of the hand with good life, able to get to both halves of the plate with lots of command of the pitch. Really good feel for sharp breaking ball out of the same slot and window, spins it well and lands with comfort, real out-pitch potential. Threw 73% strikes and dominated in his look, chance to be a really effective relief option at the next level. Outstanding student. Named to South TP Games Top Prospect List.
