Jake Flippen is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Henrico, VA who attends St. Christopher's. Primary right-handed pitcher moves from a full windup and a quick step into a high up-tempo leg lift as he remains well-balanced over the back side as he drops it and rides it down the slope. Flippen has a high three-quarter arm slot with great downhill action and late life on his fastball topping 89 mph. He also mixes in a 12/5 breaking ball with good, tight rotation and downward action. Flippen has good extension and explosion to the plate with a quick arm. Named to National Academic Top Prospect List.
