David Allen is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-9 197 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Atlantic Coast. Medium and sturdy frame with present strength to his build. Ran an 8.49 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with long strides to the baseball, developing footwork that projects at a corner position, arm works well into his throws, longer transition from glove to hand, developing arm strength that will improve with growth and additional lower half involvement. Right-handed hitter, low effort swing with strength to his wrists, upper half dominant swing with looseness to hands and the ability to get his hands out, gets on plane and produces contact to his pull side.
