Tanner Hoekwater is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Trinity Christian. Good size and lean build to add strength to. Ran an 8.82 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, good feel around the bag and hands work well, clean gathers and plays with good energy, solid carry across diamond too. Clean actions in the outfield too, a little patient but around the ball and through it well, good things to build on. Pitches too, solid athlete down the mound, compact arm stroke through a higher slot, up to 75 and creates solid life out of hand. Left-handed hitter, closed front side and uses mostly hands, fires open time and creates some hand speed, more linear than leveraged but has some strength to the hands and swung it well in game.
