Hayes Maginnis is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Newnan HS. Recorded a 7.44 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with lots of room to fill out. Primary shortstop with a three-quarters slot and moves well up the middle. Ranges well with footwork and athletic actions. Secondary right-handed pitcher with fluidity and good movements on the bump. Gets into the back hip well and fastball has good ride to it. Touched 87 mph with life at the top of the strike zone. Quick arm and commands the fastball. Over the top slot and curveball shows 11/5 break while he flashed a changeup too. Switch hitter with a narrow base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Gets out in front and lifts the ball into the air. Loose hands with good barrel control from the right side. Notched a couple of in game hits as well. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
