Chris Danson is a 2023 OF/UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Conroe. Medium and athletic frame. Ran a 7.75 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with athleticism to his movements, shuffles into throws with clean overall mechanics, developing arm strength currently. Also worked out at first base, young footwork around the bag and similar arm strength as in the outfield. Also pitched at the event, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a ¾ arm slot, drop and drive mechanics, creates a tough angle to hitters with good extension out in front at release, fastball topped out at 74 mph with a curveball that showed 11-5 shape and later bite. Righthanded hitter, narrow stance, leg lift trigger into swing, creates an uphill swing plane, opposite field oriented approach. Good student.
