Nathan Murray is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends East Coweta. Tall, athletic build with strength throughout the frame. Right handed hitter with twitch in the hands. Starts in a open stance with high hands, produces good bat speed through the zone with feel for the barrel. Got into the pull side power as the round went on. Primary first baseman, clean actions around the bag. Fundamentally sound with a good arm shown across the diamond. Also worked out in the infield, hands work out front with a big gather and good arm strength, throws up to 80 mph from both spots. 7.62 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Oglethorpe University. Named to 2022 Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
