Rylan Sutton is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ozark, MO who attends Ozark. He has a good frame with a lean, athletic build with plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.82 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He uses a knee to above the belt leg kick and does a nice job of pushing down the mound and landing in line with the plate. He uses a long, offline arm action with a slight plunge and fires from an over-the-top slot. He showed smooth mechanics that are easily repeatable and filled up the zone. He generates some cutting action on his fastball that makes it tough to square up. He primarily worked a 1-7 curveball with nice shape off his fastball. Also showed the ability to throw a change up with solid fade for a strike. He has good feel for all three pitches and knows how to sequence them properly. Secondary outfielder that showed nice quickness to the ball and fielded it out in front of his front foot. He gets rid of the ball quickly and showed nice accuracy to the bases while working through the ball well. Left-handed hitter that starts in a narrow base and an upright stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing and does a nice job of working through his swing with his lower half. He showed good bat speed and a loose swing that allows him to whip the barrel through the zone. He has a gap-to-gap approach and does a nice job of letting the ball travel.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
