Jackson Rodgers is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Glen Carbon, IL who attends Father McGivney Catholic. Recorded a 7.11 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, athletic looking frame with lean muscle throughout and room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher that works from an abbreviated windup with slightly hip turn into balance, a glove tap at the top of his leg lift and good stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the 86-87 mph range for the majority of his outing and topped out at 88 mph from a higher three-quarters arm slot in this look. Produces easy velocity and fastball shows good ride through the strike zone. Mixed in firm, tight 11-5 slider that had tons of horizontal tilt to it and generated tons of swings-and-misses. Strike thrower with good command to both sides of the plate, sequences his two pitch effectively and has more velocity in the tank. Immensely projectable frame with tons of upside remaining.
