Ty Jeter is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Brandeis. Medium athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, works with a fast tempo throughout delivery, works to a lower three-quarters release and able to generate solid running life on fastball given release, topped out at 70 mph, best life when finishing out front. Curveball comes from similar low slot, gets inconsistent in shape from getting under it but landed some up to 62 mph. Shorter steps to the ball from the outfield, same low slot on release as we saw on mound, quickness to arm, utilizes a short crow hop moving into release, shows accuracy on throws to the plate. Listed as switch-hitter, took reps only from right side; high hand set and back elbow with an even stance and employs a short shift moving into contact. Active hands and works through the ball, occasionally gets downhill with swing path. Shows the makings of bat speed through the zone, comfort working to the middle of the field and creates some leverage when on time with swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
