Jesse Stone Gomez is a 2024 SS/UT with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Weslaco, TX who attends Weslaco. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Hits from upright, slightly open stance with barrel tilt into load and leg lift trigger, drifts onto front side and creates steep entry, linear plane, middle-pull approach, heavy barrel when on time, solid projection. Worked out in the infield, creates short hops, feel for raking through backhand, has balance, stays compact through arm stroke, clocked up to 82 mph on throws across the diamond. Very good student.
