2021 Fall East Coast Showcase
Nathan Wines is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 168 lb. frame from Millersville, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Wines impressed from the bump, touching 81 mph from a simple athletic operation that he repeats well. He has strength in his build with additional room to fill out and further see the velocity tick up. In terms of off speed, Wines displayed advanced feel for a 12-6 breaker that could be utilized both as an early strike and an out pitch. He also worked from both the OF and 1B, using a full arm action to generate carry on the baseball with accurate throws from both spots. Offensively, Wines started from a wider slightly open stance with a compact balanced stroke to the pull side gap. The power potential is just beginning to develop as a 2025 grad but should be a factor in the future. Ran a 7.16 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
