Jesse Crews is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Mountain View. Medium frame with a lean, slender type build showing some room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.95 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, working aggressively to the baseball. Gathers to the side and then carries weight well into throws with a big crow hop. Lower arm slot as he threw it 74 mph during drills. Secondary Left-Handed Pitcher, working with a slower tempo while balanced as he shows a lower leg lift to stride. Long arm circle in the back and does a great job of getting extended down the mound and finishing over his front side. Fastball flashed some arm side run as he ran it up to 71 mph and filled up the zone with it. Mixed in a 1-to-7 breaking ball that had some depth to it that he commanded well. Left-Handed Hitter, spread out stance to start with high hands before working into his stride. Hands get deep and then he utilized a linear swing path. Looked to drive the baseball back up the middle. Fundamentally sound swing that will progress with some strength gains.
