Beau Bruns is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Hoschton, GA who attends Cherokee Bluff. Compact athletic build with some present strength. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has a compact exchange and release on his throws, nice footwork, game actions in drills, very accurate throws, stood out defensively behind the plate and has been well coached. Showed his athleticism well in the infield as well, has good footwork and some lower half quickness, has arm strength across the diamond, nice overall athletic body control. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, loads his hands tight and doesn't always get separated and extended through contact, flashes some jump when he does, has the strength to continue to improve as a hitter. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a compact arm action with a simple leg raise delivery. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, curveball had some shape and was his best pitch this outing. Very good student.
