Joseph Gallivan is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF, UT with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends South Forsyth. 8.35 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Medium, slender build with tons of time to continue adding strength. Primary shortstop, clean actions moving to the ball, fields the ball out front with two hands, clean exchange to a three-quarters release point. Developing arm strength and accuracy on the infield. Recorded throws up to 67 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from the middle of the rubber, side step to a high leg lift, quick tempo delivery. Front foot lands closed, long arm swing to a lower three-quarters release. Fastball up to 67 mph (1720 RPM) and a curveball with depth, up to 59 mph (1473 RPM). Also worked out in the outfield, has first step quickness, fields the ball with one hand to the side, clean exchange, long arm action to a high three-quarters release. Needs to continue developing accuracy. Right-handed hitter with a high hand and back elbow set in the stance, toe tap trigger gets the front side engaged, front hip clears early allowing the barrel to get through, young bat speed, works back up the middle in the approach. Solid foundation to build on as he gets stronger. Excellent Student.
