Bobby Gummere is a 2025 SS/RHP/UT with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Chapin, SC who attends Chapin. High-waisted, long, lean build with tons of physical projection remaining to be added throughout his frame. 6.82-second runner during the sixty. Primary shortstop, fields out in front with deliberate actions. Showcased present arm strength, up to 80 mph with carry on his throws across the diamond. Projectable body that projects to stick up-the-middle. Secondary right-handed, worked exclusively from the stretch with an above-the-belt leg-lift. Uses his long levers to create downhill plane from an over-the-top arm slot. Quick, compact arm action, sat 80-81 mph with his fastball as he worked an efficient inning on the mound. Strong command of the zone. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance with a wide base and a high-hand set. Downhill swing plane with a middle-of-the-field approach. Flashed some feel for the barrel as his BP round progressed. Stuck on his backside with minimal weight transfer. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
