Ryan Barnes is a 2023 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Griffin, GA who attends Spalding. Ran a 7.15 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with smaller build, and present athleticism. Hands are soft and clean in the infield with evident feel for the glove. Works through contact well with one-handed funnel to quick release from a lower slot. Arm is strong with carry and accuracy to result. Throws in the infield at 71-mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter with an open stance and hands low outside his chest. Direct swing plane with developing rhythm and timing and bat speed. Short swing path through the hitting zone with feel for the barrel. Power profile to the gaps in present form. Excellent student.
