Gary Staffins is a 2026 2B/RHP, SS, OF with a 5-1 85 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Walnut Grove. Young, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout and develop moving forward. Ran an 8.56 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, quick feet moving towards the ball, fields it out front, glove plays at the ball, shorter arm action through the back, arm strength and carry on throws will continue to develop. Fields the ball out front in the outfield, extra step working through the ball, repeats actions and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into finish. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Full swing path through the zone, occasionally gets uphill with plane but gets the barrel out front. Swings with intent, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength, worked to the middle and pull side parts of the field.
