John "JT" Costello is a 2026 OF/RHP/1B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Bishop Moore. Medium frame with length present showing a lean build. Ran a 8.20 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, quick first step working into it well. Fields with one hand off front foot. Quick transfer and release. Lower slot showing accuracy with throws up to 72 mph. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, controlled motion with a belt high leg lift. Full arm stroke to a higher three-quarter slot release. Fastball into the mid-70's with arm side run present. Curveball showing good 11-to-5 actions in the upper-60's. Competed in the zone and was confident in his arsenal. Secondary First Baseman, footwork showing around the bag and while fielding ground balls. Scoops it up with ease. Accurate with throws turning two and proved to have feel for the position. Right-Handed Hitter, wide base while slightly open. Strides out and lands in a good hitting position. Linear cut with quiet hands as he impacts with some thump. Proved he could square it up consistently. Outstanding Student.
