Leewood Molessa is a 2021 1B/RHP/C with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Pullman, WV who attends Williamstown. Big extra strong build. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread bent knee stance, no stride into contact, rotational hitter with a strong pull side approach, low hand start with some lift in his swing, ball comes off the barrel hard with his strength, has some projection as a power hitter with some adjustments in his approach. 7.54 runner, has nice defensive actions at first base on defense, has quick feet for his size and moves well, plenty of arm strength for the position. Also pitched, over the top delivery with a compact arm action, works downhill with a fastball up to 81 mph. Key to his future development will be making adjustments in his swing approach to tap into his plus power potential. Excellent student.
