Jesse James Alvarez is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF, IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Sun Valley, CA who attends Notre Dame. Compact frame with sound athletic traits that stand out. Infielder, showed good intent with enough arm strength across. Sound actions and good fundamentals on the dirt to either side. Right-handed pitcher, works from a repeatable high three-quarter delivery. Fastball lived mid-70s with feel for a slider, curveball and changeup with distinct shapes to each. Mixes tempos and spin well. Right-handed hitter, higher hand set and even base. Creates good extension on his front side with developing strength. Sprayed hard liners to the gaps. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
