Riley Luft is a 2024 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends North Broward Prep. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves to the ball well, has very good arm strength with sound footwork into his throws, gets on top of the ball well and creates on line carry. Also worked out in the infield with third base actions, tends to bend at the waist for balls, same high arm slot with some carry on his throws when he sets his feet. Right handed hitter, has a line drive swing with some lift out front, pull side approach, turns his hips hard and creates some bat speed, gets the ball in the air consistently. Good student, verbal commitment to Appalachian State.
