Kaleb Duran is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B, UT with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Summit. Slender and thin build with plenty of room for added strength in the future. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.94 seconds. Primary SS that showed smooth and efficient footwork when taking grounders. Consistently put himself in a good fielding position. His throws across the diamond topped out at 77 MPH. On the offensive side of the ball he works out of an even and spread out stance with a high back elbow setup. Short and compact stroke that is flat through the zone which will allow him to generate line drives all over the diamond. Tough batter to strikeout as well, he showed an advanced two-strike approach. Excellent student.
