Jayden Cockerham is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-7 110 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Volcano Vista. Jayden is a quick and agile athlete who shows great effort on the diamond. He ran an 8.32 60-yard dash. A primary middle infielder, Jayden uses steady footwork to position consistently well. He makes all the routine plays and gets his 65-mph throws on target with sound carry. On the hill, Jayden uses a high leg lift, a full arm action and a three-quarters arm slot, to steadily pitch down the slope. His 64-67 mph fastball stays on plane and is thrown consistently for strikes. His 55-mph curveball shows classic 12-to-6 break and is very effective. At the plate, Jayden is a contact hitter who uses a flatter bat path. He keeps his hands inside the ball well and sprays hits to all parts of the field.
