Morgan Pearson is a 2023 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-2 183 lb. frame from Ardmore, OK who attends Plainview. Outstanding young athletic body with some present strength and big physical projection. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, has quick hands and a short swing, creates bat speed with some lift out front, ball comes off the barrel hard for a '23, strong bet to keep improving as a hitter. 7.21 runner, showed athletic actions in both the outfield and infield, sound fundamentals for his age with some idea of foot and glove work. Also pitched, high leg lift delivery with good direction down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Slider showed good 10/4 sweeping depth, some young feel for his slider. Very interesting young prospect who projects big. Good student.
