2022 Florida Top Prospect Games
Atticus Huffstutler is a 2024 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from St Pete Beach, FL who attends Lakewood. Big bodied athlete with some present strength and plenty more to come. Primary catcher, sets up low and has good lower half flexibility, has a quick exchange and good arm strength, can gain ground better in his throwing footwork, made nice game throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a simple rock back load, long and strong swing with good bat speed, line drive swing plane with strong hands at point of contact, projects more power as he matures as a hitter. Also pitched, has a high leg raise start with a quick tempo, compact catcher's arm action. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight, also threw a soft curveball with a short break. Excellent student. Named to the Florida Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
