Gabe Parker is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-1 187 lb. frame from Thomasville, NC who attends Ledford. Primary left-handed pitcher with an athletic frame and solid build. Recorded a 7.36 second 60-yard dash time. Full windup delivery with slight crossfire release down the slope. Creates really good hip and shoulder separation and tough angle for batters on fastball up to 80 mph (2025 RPM). Controls the fastball to both sides with breaking ball in the mid-60s (1953 RPM). Flashed a changeup at 71 mph (1362 RPM) with fading action for a three-pitch mix. Solid feel to pitch with control of all three pitches. Secondary first baseman with a clean funnel out front and accurate throws at 80 mph. Has feel around the bag with solid footwork and arm slot that works on the turn with a quick release. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open base and high hands setup in the box. Gets the foot down early with some barrel wrap during separation. Feel for the barrel with lofted impact and strength to the pull side. Excellent student with a 4.3 GPA.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
