Isaac Fernandez is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Downey, CA who attends Downey High School. Has strength within build. Utilizes a full windup delivery with tempo throughout. Athleticism allows him to get down the mound well. A slight crossfire within the delivery creates deception. Uses a ¾ arm slot with a short arm swing. Showed three quality pitches that allowed him to miss bats often. The fastball sat 80-83 mph with ride through the zone. The curveball sat 62-66 mph with slurve-type actions. The offering flashed the ability to miss bats. Also flashed a changeup in the upper-60’s that showed fading action. The overall arsenal has a chance to tick up as the mechanics keep developing and strength is added to the frame. Very good student, as well.
