Jonas Salk is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Fairfax, CA who attends Sir Francis Drake. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 7.17 runner, has very good body life and body control on defense in the middle of the infield, can throw from different arm angles with plus accuracy, plays through the ball aggressively, light on his feet and can make the highlight play. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly closed stance with a short and compact swing, swings hard and has some bat speed, likes attacking the inside half, pull to mid field line drive contact. High energy player who is fun to watch play, going to keep improving as he gets stronger. Excellent student. Named to the NorCal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
