Reed Morales is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis. Slender young athletic build. 7.29 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions in the middle infield on defense, feet work well behind the ball, hands are quick and confident fielding the ball, arm action is loose and smooth and still developing carry, made very accurate throws. Right handed hitter, has a nice fundamentally sound swing with feel for the barrel and the ability to make swing adjustments to square up the ball, has some lift out front that will benefit him as he gains strength, gap to gap approach. Fundamentally sound player who will keep improving as he adds strength and physical maturity. Very good student.
