Brex Starley is a 2023 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 208 lb. frame from Hurricane, UT who attends Hurricane HS. Recorded a 7.58 second 60-yard dash time. Large, broad frame with some strength present. Primary catcher with a deeper crouch and gets on top of throws nicely. Good arm strength and has good carry out of the hand with throws recorded up to 73 mph. Feel for the position with clean transfers to the throwing hand. Arm strength played well from secondary position of the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a simple delivery with a turn step into a high leg lift. Long front lever with an online arm stroke and throws from an over the top arm slot. Flashes hard downhill plane on the fastball recorded up to 79 mph. Bigger curveball that he has some feel to land. Righthanded hitter with a balanced stance, short swing, and some quickness to hands. Uphill with the swing with big jump off the barrel when squared. Can create contact to the middle of the field and the power potential is very intriguing. Good student.
