Daniel Reyes is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Miami Sunset. Slender young square shouldered build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an easy rock back load, fires his hands well, gets some extension through the ball and can create carry both to the pull side and to the opposite field. Has a compact arm action in the outfield and some carry to his throws, tends to field off to the side, pretty athletic overall actions. Took a turn on the mound, has a slow paced windup with lots of upper body rotation to drive his arm, tends to fall off to the first base side hard on release. Fastball worked up to 80 mph, mostly to the glove side due to his mechanics. Flashed good spin on his breaking ball.
