Cooper Poe is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends Soddy Daisy. Long and athletic frame with length to limbs and a higher waist, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, simple side step moving into delivery, breaks into a shorter arm action through the backside and balanced prior to release; tends to finish towards first base on release. Three-quarters slot, fastball topped out at 85 mph, mostly true in life but creates plane and stays on top of the fastball, showed occasional life when locating to the glove side. Breaking ball showed short depth and 11-5 shape at its best up to 73 mph, around the zone with it and refined feel for it throughout. Projects well with added strength moving forward. Stays back on the ball in the infield, arm strength plays and shows accuracy to the intended base with repeatable actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box and utilizes a knee lift trigger for timing. Contact oriented approach, full swing through the zone and showed comfort working to the middle of the field, works on a linear path with line drive contact. Good student.
