Finn Ellis is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Montgomery, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Medium frame with projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.27 seconds. Hits from open stance, closes off well in stride, hands work on inside path, can get downhill, shows ability to get barrel out and impact pull-side, body projects for continued power gains. Worked out behind the plate, deep set with good flex, has some twitch out of crouch, tends to stand straight up, arm strength is carrying tool, can get more out of lower half, clocked up to 75 mph on throws with quick release, projectable catching tools. Named to 2021 Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List, excellent student.
